BARN BURNER Prepares To Record New Album

January 25, 2011

Montreal, Quebec, Canada natives BARN BURNER are getting ready to head to the studio to record the follow-up to "Bangers", their criticially acclaimed Metal Blade Records debut. The band has been touring and working on new tunes for upwards of two years now and is hungry to lay down the new tracks.

Commented vocalist/guitarist Kevin Keegan: "We have been itching to get back into the studio and record what we have been working on for two years now. The new tunes are fiercer but still catchy enough to show to your dad. Excited to work with Adrian Popovich at Mountain City again and drink all of his shitty coffee. Basically, this new record will just give us more excuses to drink beer and play shows."

BARN BURNER will perform on January 27 at Off The Hook, located on 1021 St. Catherine W., in Montreal.

"Half Past Haggard", the latest video from BARN BURNER, can be viewed below. The clip was directed by Jenna Harkness and "will give you a good idea [of] the party atmosphere of one of [the band's] shows," according to a press release. The song comes off "Bangers", which was released in February 2010.

With "Bangers", BARN BURNER captures a signature sound that cannot be easily placed or categorized. Cultivating the principles of partying and the everlasting might of the riff, BARN BURNER creates a live atmosphere that render an audience incapable of standing still. Whether it is giving your best friend a well-deserved swill of beer or lovingly smashing the bottle over his head to the sound of a ruthless riff, BARN BURNER will fulfill the demands of its listeners.

BARN BURNER is:

Kevin Keegan - Guitar/Vocals
Marc Doucette - Guitar
Nick Ball - Bass
Taylor Freund - Drums
